What is officially confirmed

Everything on this page comes from Rockstar's own trailers, screenshots, captions and character material. Nothing is estimated, and nothing comes from leaks or datamines. The honest gaps are listed at the bottom rather than filled in with guesses.

Rockstar has never said how big the map is

Not once, in any trailer, post, or filing. There is no official square-mileage figure, no "X times larger than GTA V" comparison, and — as of today — Rockstar has never even released an official map image of Leonida. Every number you have seen is either a fan estimate built from trailer footage or it traces back to leaked material. We are not going to print either as fact.

What is officially established is the shape of the place rather than its size: a state called Leonida, six named regions, and a spread of terrain from dense city to wetlands to national park. That is genuinely all Rockstar has committed to.

The six regions of Leonida

Rockstar's own media library sorts the world into six named regions — the closest thing to an official geography of the state that exists.

Vice City

The modern-day return of the series' Florida-inspired city, and the anchor of the map.

Leonida Keys

The island chain and causeways running off the coast.

Port Gellhorn

A separate coastal settlement named in Rockstar's own media.

Ambrosia

One of the six named regions of the state.

Grassrivers

The wetlands — the region Rockstar's captions associate with alligators and airboats.

Mount Kalaga National Park

The state's protected wilderness, with forest and mountain terrain.

Specific places Rockstar has named: Leonida Penitentiary, Ocean View Hotel, Vercetti Estate, A Pegassi dealership.

A note on how to read this list, because the distinction matters: these items appear in official screenshots, captions and image descriptions. That makes them real and officially shown. It does not make them announced gameplay features — a fishing rod visible in a screenshot is not Rockstar promising a fishing minigame.

The only confirmed music

Those two songs are the entire officially confirmed GTA VI music list, because Rockstar credited them in its own trailer descriptions. No radio station, DJ, tracklist, or soundtrack release has been announced. And the acts Rockstar has named in its character material — Real Dimez, DWNPLY, Only Raw Records — are fictional artists inside the story, not confirmed licensed music.

What is still unknown

These are the most-searched questions about the game, and we do not have answers to them, because Rockstar has not given any. Anywhere you find confident specifics on these, you are reading a guess or leaked material:
